Registration

Bridging disparate signing curves to enable recognition

To register a relay with an BSC wallet, such that the BSC wallet can be rewarded $TOREX in accordance to the metrics of the relay, a dual-signing system is needed.

BSC Wallet Signing Ownership of Relay

Our registration dashboard will allow an BSC wallet to sign a message conveying a desire to participate in the protocol, and claim ownership of a specific relay fingerprint. This claim is then verified by Torex Protocol or a delegated key pair with the authority to validate claims (essentially, our oracle). Importantly, the registration dashboard will be hosted on a decentralized storage network, preventing Torex Protocol or any other individual hosting provider from viewing registrants' IP addresses. Additionally, registration is completely gas-less.

Relay Broadcasting BSC Wallet

As part of the registration protocol, relays have to include the Torex Protocol header and the BSC address that is registering the relay, for as long as the relay operator wishes to receive $TOREX rewards. Torex Protocol will parse raw metrics to verify claims.
